About

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Alan Turing Institute in the Public Policy Programme and member of their Policy Modeling group.  Additionally, I am also a member of the adjunct faculty at George Mason University where I teach a variety of classes.

My research broadly focuses on the application of a variety of computational tools in economic contexts. I believe AI will be a major force in the economy not only in terms of its economic impact but also its potential applications for economic research. Therefore, I synthesize both econometric and computational approaches in my work. Some areas I find particularly ripe for such methods include monetary economics,  labor economics, and political economy.

In my teaching, a core tenet that guides my philosophy is the ability for students to apply topics they have learned to new and novel areas. I have found this project-based approach assists in cementing concepts as well as providing formal tools for their future careers and goals.
